Under the heading 'Consular Affairs' you will find information relating to the requirements for the issue of passports, visa, notary acts, consular declarations, legalisation of documents, nationality investigations, etc.  You will also find information regarding consular assistance rendered to Dutch nationals in need, e.g. in case of accidents, theft and arrest by police.

For consular matters when you are in Australia, please contact your nearest Netherlands representation.

If you live in Norfolk Island, Cocos (Keeling) Island, Christmas Island, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Island, Vanuatu or Nauru please contact the Netherlands Embassy in Canberra (Emailadres can-ca@minbuza.nl).
